Itinerary
Arrival to Dubrovnik airport and private transfer to Kotor (approx. 2 hrs). Check-in hotel and at leisure.
Overnight: Kotor
Walking city tour of the Old Town of Kotor gives you a great introduction to this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore Kotor city with local guide and learn about its history, architecture, culture and cuisine.
Follows Boat tour and visit to Our lady of Rocks, the island in the middle of Kotor bay.

Drive to Cetinje, former capital of Montenegro. After sightseeing of the city and free time we continue our ride to National Park Lovcen. Lovcen is National park since 1952 famous for two mountain peaks Štirovnik and Jezerski Peak from which you can clearly see three countries, Croatia, Albania and Montenegro. On the peak Jezerski vrh you can find mausoleum of Montenegrin poet Petar Petrovic Njegos. Lovcen National Park is known for its natural, cultural and historical characteristics. It is located at the junction of two climatic zones, the Mediterranean and continental, which resulted in the development of a rich flora and fauna with numerous endemic species.
After free time to enjoy breathtaking view from Lovcen, continue your ride back to your hotel.
Overnight: Kotor
For a different kind of day trip away from sun and sand, head to Bar – Montenegro’s main seaport. Bar is a modern city, which was rebuilt entirely after the Second World War. Although there are about 20 beaches in the area, Bar also offers numerous other ways to spend the day, including sightseeing and shopping around its historical centre. The old town of bar (Stari Bar) is filled with cobblestone streets, archaeological sites, and ruins that represent the city’s rich heritage.

Explore Ulcinj on your own: Ulcinj is situated on the very south of the Adriatic coast and on the same latitude as Barcelona and Rome. It is recognized for its biggest number of sunny days on the Adriatic Sea along with Hvar island in Croatia. Ulcinj has very rich history and lot to explore: The Tower of the Balshic, The Palace and the Court, The Slave Market are just some of the places you have to visit.
The charming sandy beaches are a token and symbol of Ulcinj’s excellence. The biggest among them, about 13 km long and about 50 m wide, is the Long Beach stretching from north-west towards south-east. Beside sandy beaches you can enjoy in plenty of rocky beaches which are more quite: The Albatros Beach, Aquarius Beach, Ladies Beach and others.

Boat cruise on Skadar Lake: Two-thirds of the lake is in Montenegro and the rest in Albania. Covering between 370 and 550 sq km (depending on the time of year), it’s one of the most important reserves for wetland birds in Europe. On the Montenegrin side, an area of 400 sq km has been protected by a national park since 1983. It’s a blissfully pretty area encompassing steep mountains, hidden villages, historic churches, clear waters and floating meadows of water lilies.

– FISHING ON SKADAR LAKE: Skadar Lake is the largest freshwater basin in whole Europe. In spring and summer when the population of fish in the lake is at the peak, the surface of the water feels faint smell of fresh- water fish. Hunting of extraordinary rare and seldom-tasty type of fresh-water types of fish – bleak, carp and eel, makes you not to resist to taste to traditional specialities in lakeside restaurants and catering in return from the cruising.
– BIRD WATCHING AT SKADAR LAKE: Beside cruising and fishing, bird watching is the most popular, so the main reason why you should visit Skadar Lake. Skadar lake abounds with over 280 different species of birds. On lake, there are tree protected areas where you can do a bird watching: Pancevo oka, Crni zar and Manastirska tapija. The Dalmatian pelican is the symbol of the Lake Skadar, and also mallard, curlew, grebe, eagle (Krstas sort), herons, cormorant. With boat we are able to navigate in areas deep up to 20 cm, which means that the boat can go through the swampy and passing through marched areas of Lake Skadar, same of them covered with reeds, and, also through the deeper woods where birds bend nest. Come and enjoy in the bird paradise!
Day trip to Ostrog. On the way visit the most famous waterfalls near the capital, Niagara Waterfalls. We will be also able to see the Cijevna River Canyon, which was formerly the border between Montenegro and the Ottoman Empire until 1912. The waterfall was named after the Niagara waterfalls in Canada. After visiting the waterfall, the road will lead you up to the Ostrog Monastery. From the terraces of this monastery, there are beautiful views of the Bjelopavlic plain and the Zeta River.
