Itinerary
Private transfer from Venice airport to Ljubljana, Slovenia (approx. 2,5 h). Check-in and at leisure.
Overnight: Ljubljana
Enjoy private guided tour of Ljubljana. Walk through the medieval Old Town and see the main attractions such as the Triple Bridge, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Dragon Bridge & Butcher Bridge, open market, Robba Fountain + Town hall with gothic courtyard, Hauptman House & Julija Primic path at Preseren square and more. When arrive to Dragon Bridge, we ascend to the top of the hill by cable car where mighty Ljubljana Castle stands. Duration of guided tour: 3 hours.
Rest of the day explore the medieval Old Town on the banks of Ljubljanica River, visit the city’s bustling central market and discover boutique shops and charming restaurants.

LONG DAY! From 8.00 am to approx. 7.00 pm.
After breakfast, head to Štajerska area, well-known wine region. Our first stop will be medieval Ptuj, also the oldest Slovenian town. Visit to the oldest Slovenian wine cellar with wine tasting and Ptuj castle.
Afterwards, visit Studio of Kurent carnival masks making. This once-in-a-life opportunity now opens to you. How to prepare one of most demanding carnival masks in the world is something which many people cannot even imagine. You will not just have chance to see the procedure but also to wear one of these masks which are worn during Kurentovanje, one of Slovenia’s most popular and ethnologically significant carnival events.
Continue to Olimje and visit to chocolate shop. Drive back to Ljubljana.

In the morning visit Postojna Caves.
Head towards Karst region, the land of numerous natural phenomena and limestone. Visit world-famous attraction, biggest and most beautiful cave in the world, the Postojna caves.
After interesting underground tourist train visit, continue to Predjama Castle. Sightseeing and return to Ljubljana.

After breakfast transfer to Bled. Guided tour with your private guide: famous Bled and visit Bled Lake and Bled Castle.
The castle stands on a rock approximately 100 yards above the lake with wonderful views of the town, lake and surrounding countryside. After castle visit, time to try worldwide known cream cake.
In the afternoon wooden pletna boat ride: Traditional wooden boat ‘pletna’ will take you to the island in the middle of the lake. After landing, climb 99 stone steps to reach the Assumption of Mary Church, where you can listen to the church bell and ring it yourself. Legend has it that this will make your wish come true!
Later this day enjoy some free time on Lake Bled.

After breakfast, private transfer to Lake Bohinj.
Guided tour of Bohinj: Lake Bohinj is one of the top natural pearls of Slovenia. It lies within Triglav National Park enclosed by the beautiful Julian Alps. Crystal clear water offers bathing between June and September, but the area around the lake draws fans of various sport activities and pristine nature environment throughout the year.
While in Bohinj ascend by cable car to the top of Mt. Vogel with stunning view to Bohinj region, Lake and highest Slovenian mountain. We will also visit Savica waterfall afterwards. Return back to Bled and at leisure.

Tour will continue to Soča valley. Discover the scenic valley of the Alpine river Soča, remarkable for its emerald green waters and white water rapids, which attract the lovers of adrenaline-fuelled water sports from around the world.
Our route will take us first to picturesque waterfall Peričnik. Short stop here to start relaxing day.
Continue to Kranjska gora, a regular venue for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, and continues along the scenic road across Vršič, the highest mountain pass in Slovenia. Two stopovers are made on the way to view Lake Jasna and the picturesque Russian Chapel, built in 1916 by prisoners of war. Once in the Soča Valley, you will be taken to the small towns of Bovec, a well known centre of adrenaline sports.
Check-in at your accommodation in Bovec and at leisure.

Private transfer to Goriska Brda, Slovenian Tuscany. On your way stop at Tolmin for a visit of Tolmin gorges – the lowest and southernmost entry point into the Triglav National Park and Tolmin’s most important sight of nature. There you can make easy circular walk around the gorges (approx. 1,5h).
Continue with a visit to Kobarid, a small but beautiful town boasting some of Slovenia’s finest restaurants and make a visit to a first class museum of WWI.
Continue to Goriska Brda. Check-in at the hotel and at leisure.

Private transfer to Slovenian coast. First stop in Koper, the biggest town on Slovenian Coast, also known as town of palaces.
Later visit Secovlje Salt pans, one of biggest salt pans on Adriatic coast, visit salt museum and see traditional way of salt production.
Continue to Piran, check- in hotel and at leisure.

Day trip to Croatia. Guided tour of Rovinj, the Blue Pearl of the Adriatic, the city of romance and art, one of the most picturesque towns in the Mediterranean. Part of the Venetian Republic for over 500 years, the Old Town is perched on an elevated peninsula, surrounded by Venetian terracotta-roofed houses and crowned by the Church of St. Euphemy from the 18th century whose bell tower dominates the Rovinj silhouette.
We will also make stop in Porec, with UNESCO basilica.
Overnight: Piran
Private transfer to Venice (1,5 h).
Explore Venice on your own: Ride up the Grand Canal on the No. 1 vaporetto from Piazzale Roma toward the Piazza San Marco. Sit up front if the boat has as open bow; otherwise, grab a seat in the stern, behind the enclosed cabin.
Explore Venice all major attractions, such as St. Mark’s Square, Dodge’s Palace, Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge and Bridge of Sighs. We definitely recommend to visit the Dodge’s Palace from inside (one day in advance we suggest to buy skip the line ticket if available). By walking or driving with vaporetos (water taxis) or romantic gondolas you will pass numerous palaces, old houses and canals, museums and galleries which are worth to see.
